This is a quick reminder for the 2011 Goodfellow AFB Triathlon on Saturday July 30th starting at 7:30 a.m.  The Tri will be at the Goodfellow Rec Camp is open to the public. It features a 400m open water swim, a 20K Bike ride, and a 5K run. Participants will receive a T-shirt and are invited to the cookout afterwards! Dont Forget — The 30th Annual SOUTHLAND SHUFFLE is coming up on SATURDAY, AUGUST 6! Start and finish will be at MEADOWCREEK PARK; the 2 and 6 mile runs will begin at 7:30 a.m. Registration will be the morning of the race from 6:30 a.m. to race time. We will have packet pick-up this year on Thursday, June 9^thfrom 5-8pm & on Friday, June 10^thfrom 12-8pm at Community Health Club. We are partnering with Community Health Club to bring you a health/fitness expo on Friday during packet pick-up. Come by and browse over a dozen health/wellness clubs, organizations, and vendors including:

• Randy‚Äôs Bike & Run

• Brigade Basketball
• San Angelo Bicycling Association
• San Angelo State Park

Race day registration will be available from 6-7am on Saturday, June 11^that block one of Concho Avenue (in front of Eggemeyers). Again, registration will increase by $5 on race day. The race will start at 7:30 am sharp. The USATF certified course will start/finish on block one of Concho avenue, and will follow the river trail out and back for 4.97 miles total.  This is a flat & fast course that is perfect for a new personal record. Also, don’t forget about the 1 mile fitness walk/run!

For those of you new to the club, this race is a Road Runners Club of America Texas State Championship race. The RRCA will award championship plaques to the overall Male/Female, overall Male/Female Masters, overall Male/Female Grand Masters, and overall Male/Female Sr. Grand Masters. In addition,  1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rdplace in each age division will receive a medal.

We have 3 busy weekends ahead of us! This Saturday make plans to attend the 2nd Annual Dash for Dyslexia Benefitting the JPW Learning Center. The Race/Walk will start at 8AM at the Bentwood Country Club Tennis Shop.
