The SARL 2011 Race Calendar is winding down with some great running events!
THIS SATURDAY, November 5th- Habitat for Humanity’s Home Run 5K & 1 Mile
A prize will be given to the runner wearing the OLDEST Road Lizards T-Shirt!!
November 19th – ASUFit Turkey Trot 5K, 1.5 M Fitness Walk & 1 M Children’s
Run (12 & Under) benefiting ASU Sports Medicine Club
Award for best thanksgiving costume!!
December 10-Run, Run Rudolph 2M Fun Run, Christmas Party & Annual Meeting _
Fun Run/Walk Start: 6:00 PM
FREE! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Run will follow the tour of lights on the beautiful Concho River!

Roles and Responsibilities are as follows:
President:Oversee/manage race calendar, Assist Race Directors in the
Planning Process, Oversee flow of information to all club stakeholders,
Responsible for any public relations initiatives, Present opportunities for
involvement to the board for approval, SARL liaison to: SABA, ASU Fit,
TxDOT MPO, State Park, GAFB, RRCA
Vice President: Act as President in President’s absence, Responsible for
local advertisements, Oversee club sponsors, Oversee membership drive
Treasurer: Track & manage finances (Mertzon bank, PayPal & Compete-at.com),
RRCA membership & insurance fees, Admin. Fees (PO BOX, Website), Track race
statistics, Manage SARL income
Secretary: Keep/publish meeting minutes, Manage membership roster, Manage
club email account (Gmail).
Member-at-Large: Organize Training Runs/Group Socials
Webmaster:Manage website & links, Update/revise website
The current SARL Board is working hard to see that there is a smooth
transition in leadership, and are willing to offer the new board members as
much assistance as necessary!
