Camping will be available the night before at the starting line area (just come to the starting line on Friday and you'll see it). This is primitive camping: no RV hookups, etc. are provided and the only very close restrooms are portable toilets. There are other camping sites available near the starting line: visit https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/san-angelo for more information. Drop Bags

All runners are welcome to place bags in the designated area at the start/finish line. You will pass by this spot after each loop.

In addition, a drop bag service to deliver bags to the Winding Snake Aid Station is provided for the 100K only.  (No other distances pass by this aid station). Bags will be delivered from the start line to the Winding Snake Aid Station, which is 11.3 miles from the start line. Place bags in the designated area at the start of the race. Please write your number on the bag: many bags could look the same!

Though bags will be in an area visible by aid station workers, we will not be checking that runners are going into the correct bags. Please do not place any valuables in drop bags.

Bags may be picked up Sunday morning at the race start or by driving to Winding Snake to grab them yourself. Directions will be provided in the race-week emails!

Pacers

Pacers are welcome for the 50K and 100K distances after the first lap. There is no charge for this, and the pacers are welcome to the aid stations. However, all pacers must sign a waiver the morning of the race and wear a pacer bib while on the course. Come to either the registration or timing table and we'll get you setup!
