Race 1: January 20
The first race of the Trail Series, often considered the most difficult, starts at Middle Concho Park. The trail leads into the Twin Buttes Reservoir area, currently managed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. This course has dirt paths, rocky inclines, and great views of the Twin Buttes and San Angelo.
How do I get there?
The first race starts inside Middle Concho Park. Clicking this link will show you exactly where we'll be set up.
Directions: From Knickerbocker road, turn onto Red Bluff Road, located at the same intersection as Packsaddle Barbecue. Drive all the way to the end of Red Bluff Road (about 3 miles) until you see a booth marking the beginning of Middle Concho Park. After the booth, immediately turn right. Drive about a half mile and you'll find us!

What does the course look like?
The course changes from year to year depending on recent weather, trail conditions, and how those marking it are feeling that week. Though this map will give you an idea of what to expect, don't use this as your guide while running.
